Full Moon Cacao Ceremony

Individual & Community Healing Experiential for Women

The full moon guides our way, providing illumination onto our shadows to be looked at from the soft, gentle, loving embrace from Mother Cacao.  We will call upon Grandmother Moon and harness her strength, and ask for her guidance into and through your shadows.  We will ask for her support, to see with clarity and strengthen your intentions.

Mother Cacao is typically described as having a soft, gentle, heart opening quality.  We will intentionally invite Mother Cacao through ceremony into our bodies to journey into those places, those shadows, gently.  Utilizing Mother Cacao to be with ourselves in a nurturing, and loving way gently opens us to work through our shadows.  Whether you are taking a peak through a crack or swinging the door wide open to work with your shadows, we do so easily, and gracefully, with respect and honor to yourself and your own experience.

Cacao specifically has been used in gatherings marking Rites of Passage, like birth, death & marriage for thousands of years.

Group processing and supporting has been a method of tribal custom for thousands of years.  People would come together to grieve, celebrate or reach higher states of consciousness.

When we are able to share our truths authentically in a circle where all are equal without hierarchy, we begin to see the similarities we have, the shared experiences of life we’ve encountered, the same fears and concerns, the same joys and excitements.  There is a comfort there, it creates a shared sense of belonging and we are more easily able to draw support from one another and make the changes in our life we desire.   A strong foundation is acquired in the knowing that your sister may have been there too and she’s got your back.

Group circling strengthens social bonds, validates, creates accountability, provides a space to share truth, own it and make healthy positive changes.  Healing in this way changes the ways in which we interact with other people outside of the circle, with more compassion and understanding.  And with each new interaction we are changing the paradigm and healing the wounding that’s been afflicting the Divine Feminine for far too long.

Event:

A ceremonial grade Cacao drink and light snacks will be provided. You will be guided in a somatic meditation that will assist you in setting intentions to work with the medicine of Mother Cacao.  Some history and benefits about the energy of Mother Cacao will be shared.

We will bring our 5 senses into our awareness to assist in embodying the qualities of our journey.  We will drink the cacao then weather permitting we will go to the rooftop (Parthenon view) to gaze at, bask in, and charge up in the energy of the full moon for about 15min.  After we will have free time for inner exploration and journey.  This might include conscious movement, silence, writing in your journal, drawing/art, using oracle cards or other ways you wish to express your experience.  Cacao is NOT a hallucinogenic.  

We will then close the ceremony with the option to share with the circle.  Doing this helps to integrate your experience and create shifts in the life we desire. More details about how to prepare will be sent 1 day before the event after paid registration.

*It's recommended to take Cacao on an empty stomach but this can upset some tummies so please be sure to have eaten close to arriving.  I will have light snacks available.

We will follow the protocol regarding Covid & masks according to the government laws of Greece.  I ask that all persons entering the temple wash their hands.  Hand sanitizer is also available.  Please be mindful of distance and ask before giving hugs.  Please be respectful of peoples' preferences.
